Kadai Paneer

Ingredients
- - 1 block of paneer, cubed
- - 2 onions, finely chopped
- - 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
- - 1 bell pepper, cut into cubes
- - 1 tsp ginger paste
- - 1 tsp garlic paste
- - 1 tsp cumin seeds
- - 1 tsp coriander powder
- - 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- - 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- - 1/2 tsp garam masala
- - Salt to taste
- - Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
- - Cooking oil
Directions
- 1. Heat oil in a kadai or wok over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- 2. Add chopped onions, ginger paste, and garlic paste. Saute until the onions turn golden brown.
- 3. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and mushy.
- 4. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
- 5. Add the bell pepper cubes and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- 6. Gently add the paneer cubes to the kadai and mix well without breaking them.
- 7. Sprinkle garam masala and mix everything together gently.
- 8. Cover the kadai and let it simmer for 5-7 minutes on low heat.
- 9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- 10. Serve hot with roti or rice. Enjoy your Kadai Paneer!
